Happy late April Fool’s! This week, I start our monthly list of updates so you could see what I’ve been doing.
I’ve finished another Ever Better Challenge.
This month, I challenged myself to learn new words so my writing could be better. I talked all about it in this letter. How I did was okay in terms of how many days I actually learned a new word. I’ve missed multiple days this month and this doesn’t concern me a lot. This challenge is all about creating habits for our lives, so of course, there would be minor challenges along the way. I can’t wait to reveal another challenge I created this month.
I’ve finished all of my short story drafts!
Great timing! It is the first week of the month and I’m done with the drafts. All I have to do now is revise, edit, and rewrite it. Easy.
I’ve started new writing projects.
Along with writing the fourth novel, I managed to start new writing projects and write a set of words on them over 1,000 so I could continue to them after I finish the novel I’m heavily invested in right now. This might not work for others, but this works for me so I could save time.
I’ve created a life vision. (Personal)
During the first days of the month, I spent time focusing on myself and my wants for life. I was so glad I did this and not wait until another month and even worse, another year with so many things to do this year. I’ve created goals that are both personal and professional. I couldn’t wait to check them off as soon as possible!
I’ve created a vision board. (Also personal)
Along with that life vision, I created a vision board to stick up on multiple areas of my home. All I did was search relatable images online and pasted them together to created a collage. I printed out the remaining picture and embraced it. After that, I created a mental note to change this every year. To me, this is very important for figuring out what you want in life. Again, I was very glad I did it sooner so now I could look forward
Well, that was it. I hoped this information gave you more insight into what I’ve done last month. Progress is important to make in life if you want to be better, and I hope you take that to mind. Make sure to subscribe to the newsletter for more information. See you next week.
