Hello! It has been a while since I’ve published one of these updates. I’ve been so busy with other things. Most of it was even unrelated to writing. So, let’s move on with update #2. Immediately, I’ll tell you what I’ve been doing.
I got a new website!
I believe I did that in January. Basically, I’ve just included everything from my last website into a new one. My short stories are still there. You must’ve already known. If you haven’t, just look at your surroundings online and learn more through this blog post.
I’ve started a rewrite of my fourth book.
I’ve mentioned this in one of my letters. I’ve worked on and finished my first draft and wanted to rewrite it because when I looked at it, it just looked wrong to me. And by that, I meant that I forced myself into writing in my character’s voice which was not easy. I’ll go into detail about that character later, maybe after the book is finished. Right now, I’m rewriting it in my own voice so it can be easier. I don’t know when it will be released since I don’t have an agent, but I’m hoping it will be finished this year. I developed my social media calendar.
I wanted to use social media just because and to promote the things I publish. Developing a social media calendar worked well last month, except I missed some posts. I just converted and updated them into this month to solve the problem.
I worked on my newsletter.
I’m still sending letters every Sunday, except this week, which I’m really sorry for. During the past few months, I’ve added something new; an e-mail header to show what the letter is about expressively.
I’m working on more short stories.
I’ve had just these two for a while and I’m currently working on more to add to the website. I’ve started four of them, and once I’ve done them all, I’ll read them over, research (if necessary), revise, edit, and read them over. That sounds right. Maybe at least one will come out next month, so be prepared.
