Troubled

Hello. It seems that I haven’t been posting blog posts on this blog. Sorry. I’ve focused on heavy marketing on my books since nobody has bought them, except one, and that is great!

What I Did

It really is, but it is not enough. To be really successful in this career, I must get people to notice my books, and I wouldn’t rely on just social media. Since every literary agent I submitted to rejected my submission, I self-published to get these books released fast. But, how can I really have enthusiasm in the marketing phase when I know that these books aren’t polished?

If you haven’t known, I published the books on Inkitt (account) for free so anyone can read it. I did that so I could have enough readers for them to get published. I’m not really eager about this route since anyone could read it for free, and the read limit is high to reach, but it is a possible alternative.

So far, Qualiteria High is in the lead and has gained more readers than my other books. That is good to see, and as for the reviews I had. The reviews were helpful, but the ones that are embarrassing were grammar errors and story criticism. The same goes for Black Cat.

Along with marketing, I also had to edit both books to see what errors there were. Then, I realized that editing them would take a while to get to the next book that I am writing, which is going to be a novel, and longer than the books that I’ve published.

With that in mind, I decided to skip the editing and write my next book which I plan to include minimal grammar mistakes, thorough detail, and excellent writing. This period kept on for a few months.

I wouldn’t guarantee that the next book would be released very soon since it is a novel length, but I plan to release as soon as possible, and possibly with literary agents! I would try to post every day now, so in the meantime, comment on my blog posts, follow me on Quotev, Reddit, and Medium, and sign up for my newsletter.
