Hello! There was supposed to be one blog post this week scheduled on Friday at 9:00 a.m., but since today is a special day, I decided to share my thoughts on 9/11 in free poem style. My poem writing skills aren’t top-notch this time around, but I’m treating this more of a brain dump. Share this on this special day and enjoy.
In my area
Nobody talks about it
Nobody minds it
Instead, they carry on
Carrying on is good
And carrying on can help you
But even though I don’t remember
I can’t help but thinking “what if?”
What if another airplane invades?
What if it comes to my area?
What if it destroys our homes?
What if we have no food left?
What if we get injured?
What if we end up dying?
I’m overreacting
For a good thing?
At least there were heroes who were worth remembering
We should evolve!
